Common questions

Can every deal be won? Every classic deal from 1 to 32,000 can be won, except the famous #11982. Random Deal and the daily challenge only ever give you winnable deals. If a position can no longer be won, the table says so quietly — try Undo.

How many cards can I move at once? As many as you could move one at a time using the free cells and empty columns: one more than your free cells, doubled for each empty column.

What do I have to pay for? Nothing. Every deal, hint, undo and daily challenge is free, there are no coins, and the App has no in-app purchases.

My progress isn’t on my iPad. Sync uses your iCloud account. Check both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and that iCloud is on for FreeCell in Settings › [your name] › iCloud. Settings stay per device on purpose.

Can I turn off the animations or sounds? Sound is off unless you turn it on. Card speed is in Settings, and the App follows Reduce Motion.

Does it work with VoiceOver? Yes. Swipe between the free cells, foundations and columns; each lists every legal move in the actions rotor.
